The Free by Two Data Sets of Photometric Galaxy Surveys
The light from the galaxy on its path to us gets bent by any intervening dark matter. This is a prediction of general relativity. And so we have two independent probes of the dark matter. And then we can also cross correlate those two pieces of information. So we call it the free by two data sets.
