Is It Alive?
I am definitely interested in exposing power and abusive power, particularly. As a US citizen, taking on the failures of this government is really important for me to do. I'm not as worried that people are telling me the version of their past that they've told over and over. There's something about observational filmmaking that you sort of surrender to events as they're unfolding. And that's something I really am drawn to because it's unpredictable.
