The Importance of the Gifted Brother

I wonder if you can provide some suggestions for how a church might evaluate and possibly approve a man to be set aside or affirmed as a gifted brother. I've been involved over the last 20 years in probably at least 10 instances where men have been recognized as gifted brothers in churches. It's not the same as going into the eldership, but still it gives you a sense of recognition. And so you can look at Romans 10, 15, how shall they preach unless they are sent? And you can say, a church of Jesus Christ has sent me. The right place that it comes from.
