The Iraq War

The Iranians would help the Syrians activate Sunni terrorists to attack Shiites embarrass us, get the Shiites angry at us. And that's what happened here. So there was a war being waged on us by Iran and Syria. If we had gone more thoroughly with the concept of just turning over the government of Iraq as quickly as possible back to the Iraqis, we would have been in a much better position to confront the Iranians.
