In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue. In 1493, the Pope declared the indigenous inhabitants of the New World not people. Therefore it could be colonized. The rights of indigenous people declared by the Pope in 1493, they are not people. We also have inside the landmine treaty that my teacher, Gosananda, worked on for so many years. And we're trying to make ourselves secure. Everything's going to keep us safe. But it doesn't work that way because you can't hold on to things. This is crazy, actually, isn't it? It's some very deep, not just hypocrisy, but some profound ignorance and grasping and fear behind this.
