CHAPTER

Ignada F-18 - Is There a Dust Devil on Mars?

We don't hear the sound generated by one before our approaches. The Martian atmosphere is so very thin, it's 150 times thinner than on Earth. These last 167 seconds, a little bit less than three minutes and we actually only do on average of them about eight a month. We hope that this demonstrates the potential for acoustic data for all planetary exploration places like Venus and Titan in the future. And that's where we're going to whistle off.
