Code, i think i first went on america on line probably around like 94, 95. There's not a lot of commercial incentive for doll manufacturers to have some sort of open standard that binds everything together. People who make dolls actually benefit from the lock in. If you've been working on 50 projects in the last five years, and you've got 50 incomplete things, it wouldn't be very smart for them if you could just open up.
