The Pros and Cons of Artist Residency
I would say for the most part I, you know it's been an incredible community. You're not going to love everybody that you're because we all have our own quirks and needs sometimes people feel very anxious being away from their environment. But in a bigger picture I would say what I have learned from my experiences is that I feel very much a part of the global artist community. It doesn't mean that these places are not like a brand sort of glam luxury places,. A lot of them can be funky and like I was just in one in Australia which was fantastic but there was a bat flying around in my room so somewhat to be expected.
