The Cost of Assistive Technology

A lot of this innovative assistive technologies that have come up in the past have had a very high cost due to the technology that is involved with it. Would you say this could be the same issue of this kind of technology if it reached a practical life stage where it's very expensive for the average person to get hold of it? Well, I think we have to again go back to who the user is, what the purpose is. And so yes, you might be talking about something that sounds a really high cost, we could be talking tens, hundreds of thousands of pounds. But over their lifetime and what that enables, that actually might not be such a high cost.
