There's no reliable biomarkers of chronic inflammation, but there are some things you can do to keep it from ever happening in the first place or get it to go away. Quit smoking. Cut down on drinking. Being more social is bad news for introverts like me because the more social you are, the less inflammation you should have. If you try to maintain a healthy weight, cut out highly processed foods.
