The Journey of a Train Manager

In the late 1980s and early 90s, I traveled a lot around Eastern Europe in trains. The whole experience was like stepping back into the late 80s or 1990s. And then something really struck me: this is how the economy evolves. What has happened to trains is the smartphone, the internet changed everything,. But nobody who was designing trains at the time thought they were going to have to change the design of the train.
