Jynjic was at the forefront of protests against Milosevic, who had been accused of committing war crimes during several bloody conflicts. He temporarily left the country because he received information from reliable sources that there were plans for his assassination. Jynjic's calculation is that secretive planning, ingenuity and luck will keep him alive.
