I'm Not Beholden to Anyone but You, and I Am Working Everyday for You
I've always been proud of that. I never took back money. But, i think the truth of the matter is that people consider it less fair when their elected officials are beholden to special interests rather than working for them. And i've seen that up close and personal too many times during my time in public service. It's important for anybody who suports a concept of charter schools, as they do, to also start by saying, it's not that charter schools are better or worse in other public schools. Some of them innovate, and they don't do as well others; we need to expand and replicate what works on the district side or the charter school side. No innovation schools
