The Fuck Is Going on in France

The French are comfortable with an amount of mayhem in their streets that frankly as an American drives me crazy. Macron forced through in a really imperial way retirement reforms, pension reforms. They lowered the retirement ages 64 now instead of 62 for most people. It unleashed nationwide protests and strikes of everything from the metro system to the garbage collection. There was just like lit fires of trash piles all around my neighborhood. France never gets that cold. So it's kind of it's humid in the streets. And then you know, then in these protesters, always a kind of casa, which is like breaker. The fire is just raging behind that. Which is so quintessentially French.
