The bank was located on a street corner, flanked by big windows and a glass door. Police immediately wanted to identify the bank's potential escape routes. The first hostages to be released were able to reveal some crucial details about the robbers' disguises. At quarter to one, Rolofo watched the thieves on live television, as they dragged a few hostages to the door, released them, and then ran back inside.
