The Government's Efforts to Set Up a Semiconductor Ecosystem
Shelley: The government redoubled its efforts to set up a semiconductor ecosystem in India after COVID disrupted global supply lines. She says one of the first serious proposals that the government got was the Foxconn with Antataya, but that doesn't seem to have gone anywhere. Shelley: There were some doubts on the financial stability of the venture in which Vedanta has 67% share and this is a very capital intensive project.
