The Weight of the Test

A friend of mine was going through a painful season at the same church. He had become frustrated and quite frankly, embittered. So he offered an informal counter invitation to join him in his anger against those that I believe have wronged me. Under the pretense of honest vulnerability, it would quickly devolve into malicious gossip or slander. And this is someone with whom I'd spent a lot of time who knew a lot about me.
