The Amna Haapak started taking cattle in May 2010. Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife tried non-lethal methods first, like double fencing livestock. They tracked pack movement by radio collar and alerted ranchers when there were wolves in the area. Emma went on a wolf tour put on by an environmental group.
