The Importance of Preparing for an Amateur Student Group
A few months ago when we did our first preview. We called it our lonely hearts evening. I didn't realise that the venue only had a capacity of about 40. So on the day I rammed as many people as I could in there, charged them a fiver. And the card reader broke when they started walking in. So I had to get everyone to PayPal or bank transfer me. You raised an interesting issue there. Is there a reason other than us that we're polishing the act and finding out what works for doing previews for a kind of amateur student group like yourself? Yeah, there is. It's also not very realistic to ask everyone to pile up to Edinburgh.
