Luxury Is Not a Bad Thing
I like nice brands, but i am also responsible and thoughtful about how i indulge in said brands. I paid more in rent to live in an apartment community with newer appliances in a newer build because i didn't want to deal with some of the previous headaches that i experienced when i lived in older buildings. It's spending more in the short term, but what i'm getting back in terms of mental space and in terms of time that might far outweigh the cost. And ye, luxury, it's not a bad thing. Sometimes we need some of that in our life.
