The Impact of the Made in China 2025 Program on Firms Receiving Subsidies

The Made in China 2025 subsidies do not seem to be having the desired impact on firms that disclose they receive these subsidies. There's no statistically significant positive impact on patenting in China, or labor productivity. And there's no statisticallysignificant positive impact on total factor productivity.
