The only place leap seconds are an issue is if you're running an n t p server. For people just operating like vaguely normal servers, you've got considerably higher drift going on in your internal clock hardware that has to have constant adjustment anyway. But either you care enough to run it in t p, and your time is already being smeared all the time, thereis no reason for you to even notice or care whether the up servers are smearing or not. Or you know if your server jumps a second or two, or maybe even a minute in the logsou you just don't care.
