Narcissistic Defense Strategies Are at the Cost of Others
The dilemma of the narcissist lies in the fact that he or she does not have a stable inner self worth. Since a sense of self worth is excistentially important for every one, a narces ist has no choice but to draw it from other external sources. And in this way, they therefore become very dependent on them. What is important for understanding the dynamics of narcisism is not only how the narcisis themselves feels, but also how others feel in their presence.
