Is There a Connection Between Protein and Satiety?
Neville: There's a lot of evidence for high protein foods that they are more satiating than carbohydrates and fat typically in that order. So there's lots of good solid kind of scientific reasoning why it might be beneficial to have protein at a meal. He says the subjective ratings within the body don't match up with what these different hormones are responding to, so you can stop eating nice. Nevile: One study looked at whether taking 60% energy from protein would stimulate post meal GLP1 and py and they're the inhibitory so they tell you’re full. You feel fuller but hungry.
