The Intermediate Plateau in Language Learning

LZ Granderson was diagnosed as an adult with Attention Deficit Disorder last year. He says he's motivated by doing things that are difficult, like starting a task and not knowing how to finish it. LZ: "When you see progress and you see something going up, then that motivation builds like a wave" But when you can't see a lot of difference in your performance or learning the guitar, 'you lose motivation'
