The New York State Department of Education sent a letter to Trump University. They politely pointed out that using the term university was actually a violation of state law. Turns out there's laws about what a university is. Sexton promised the Department of Education that Trump University would not instruct students in New York. He also promised to remove the 40 Wall Street address from the letterhead and promotional material. None of this was done. Nobody expects you to be the guy who's going to do something this shitty. So if you do it, there's a good chance it'll stop you.
