The Situationalists Art in Paris

Deboard is convinced that art has failed and is essentially dead as a thing capable of carrying meaningful countercultural messages. The situationalists are motivated by the concept of psychogiography which is a way of describing one's surroundings in order to influence their emotional state. Situationist art is often credited with sparking a massive series of riots in paris in 1968 but it also falls apart eventually for the same reason most left wing movements do.
