Longevity researchers are in favor of humans living for centuries. The hope is that our generations will be able to expect to live till 90 and play tennis, and even make it to a hundred. Yet there could be a type of cenaria where we're just extending the age at which old age gets harder or worse. We clearly have not figured out how to have a quality yor planet of about eight billion.
Two scientists. A billion-dollar wager. One unanswered question: Is the first human who will live to 150 already alive? The technology to make that happen may already be in development. But if it works, there will be new, unsettling questions for humankind to answer.
