The Importance of Hope in Genesis 12
Hager: In Genesis 12, there's a famine in the land. Abram goes down to Egypt to escape the famine that's happening. He goes to Sarai and he like, Hey, you're really pretty. And because you pretty, when Pharaoh and his people see you, they are going to take you and then they're going to kill me. Hager: But I want you to notice that both Abraham and Sarah are very strategic people. They both know how to come up with plans and strategies for how to secure themselves.
