The Eugenics Education Society

The Eugenics Education Society thought that poverty was the result not of society but biology. Popular novelists like Sarah Grande wanted women to be empowered with choice over who they have children with. They developed the idea of eugenic feminism whereby women should be able to make reproductive choices about who they marry based on fitness. Galton himself had realized that to alter the breeding patterns of a nation, you needed to infiltrate the way people think about romance and marriage.
