The Dissonance Between Traditional Universities and Online Learning

The traditional perspective of learning is the idea that we in some way create or acquire knowledge. To learn what you're actually doing is changing the physical state of the brain. So they don't attempt to produce a method of learning which corresponds to that fact. There's still an awful lot of failure in traditional universities. Not just MOOCs, where you see a lot of failure and lack of course completion.
