Airbnb's Go to Market Strategy

Home way crushed on SEO and so the cost of customer acquisition was incredibly low. Airbnb while I think they got good at SEO over time I don't think they had sort of quite the asset base that home way had from multiple domains or long standing existing domains. Twofold, one being a private company and having that ability to spend aggressively on marketing to capture a market as it's shaping up is an important lesson for me.
