Is There a Way to Create Value?
I just cannot understand why all of this bailout money wasn't attached to preferred shares on behalf of the public. There's no reason why you couldn't have taken preferred shares from all those companies and stuck them in an account for people's social security or whatever it is, right? Like the public could have been shareholders and all those things. And we know how to do it. I think it's not like it's not complicated. Where there's a well, there's a way and where there's no well. In fact, there are giant industries devoted to just these sorts of arrangements.
