Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and Sen. Chris Cox have been friends for more than a quarter century. The two men disagree on whether there should be Section 230 protection, but they're in agreement about the need to protect consumers from algorithms that can control who's hired or fired. "There are very real harms that people can suffer" as a result of these algorithms, Senate Majority Leader Reid says.
