We Shouldn't Overpay People

As the church grew, we moved toward living wages. We're not talking about wealth or anything here. Let's give them a living wage so that maybe they can live on on income. People don't have to work if they don't choose to. And underpaying people is sure way to get some sub standard work done. I tell our people, if you're going to put a cross on it, drive it right. If youre gongto put a cross in the back wind of your car, drive it with excellence.
