Edward Coolidge and Pamela Mason
Edward Coolidge was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Danny Pecat. He appealed his case on the grounds that a search of his vehicle had been unconstitutional. In June 1971, the Supreme Court agreed that the search had violated the Fourth Amendment. After serving 27 years in jail, he walked free from prison in March 1991 at the age of 53.
