Investing in Seed Over Anything, a Over the Next Best

I prefer to be an investor as early as humanly possible in a company, because once the culture is formed, that dies cast. From a cultural standpoint, I believe very strongly that with very limited exceptions, the only way to build a startup for scratch is in person. No one has proven a model to learn by osmosis in a remote environment. Unstructured learning is the hardest thing to translate to remote. The most correlated thing I've seen to people's success is just simply the number of hours that they work.
