Is There a Direct Effect on Child Alcoholism?

There's a lot in there, and let me start going through as many of them as i can. I'm thinking about him. First thing is really just a point of clarification. You said that parental alcoholism has a direct effect on child alcoholism. Then you went on to explain a mechanism for that. So in the language that i'm accustomed to, i think of that more as an indirect effect. Is there a direct effect, or is there an indirect effect? As there a total effect?
