The Complexity of Complex Systems

When macroeconomics started to develop at the end of the 1800s, then we didn't have any tools to understand complex systems. We are so bought during our education and at university to use these analytical tools that are super valuable in many cases but not helpful when trying to understand a complex system. And again, one of my favorite examples there is our understanding of the market. When you're starting to look at rapidly developing, for example, technological environment that is shifting the context of the market constantly, it's much, much more useful to look at the market as a complex adaptive system instead.
