I started to care who they were and how I was affecting them is a short way of putting that, which that was never true before. My only job was to preach and if they didn't like it, screw them,. In fact, the picket sign God hates your feelings. So this is this is the beginning of how I started to change. And then the church itself started to change so doctrines within the church started to changed.

In this episode we sit down with Megan Phelps-Roper, the author of Unfollow, a memoir of her time in Westboro Baptist Church, and an exploration what it took to convince her to leave.
