The Importance of Speaking and Writing

In eighth grade, I got assigned to cover a big event in Jefferson City where I grew up. And I wrote what I'm sure looking back on it was an absolutely terrible article about it. But the teacher chose not to publish it online because she had no idea what that word meant. He says he's come to discover how much overlap there is between these two areas and how much the writing has helped improve his speaking.
