I've been a very sensitive person all my life. I was abused as a child and that abuse led to alcoholism. And if I'm not being able to talk about it, I had to cope some kind of way. In order to cope, I chose alcohol. And then it started to work with me being depressed. This is actually a running theme with comedians. There's a reason why you see so many sad clowns when you look through history books. It's because comedy comes from a part of you that needs to please somebody else. You need to make people feel something.
