Our speakers have three minutes to put across their pitch and addressing the key question of this debate. Is the pursuit of independence a sign of a liberated society or a grave mistake? And I'm going to ask Sophie to go first. Janicella: We live in a world that is increasingly faces an importance on the individual versus our family structures. But we are embodied individuals, our consciousness is part of our bodies, and I understand us best when we're looking in each other's faces,. touching each other, breathing the same COVID-ridden air, and enjoying each other as embodied individuals.
