The Origins of Funny Animal Comics

In 1977, this guy named Mark Merlino is an animator and he gets together with a group of other animators and creates the cartoon fantasy organization. The logo is this anthropomorphized animal drawn by Merlino in a similar style that we would come to see be popular in the furry community. And then there started being these room parties at conventions where people who liked Galachi's art were able to meet up specifically for his work. So wow, the Mona Lisa of furries.
