How Do We Move Forward?

i've been trying to fig out what's going on with this polarization process. And i can't figure it out exactly, because part of me thinks i'm kind of watching you americans rom from the outside perspective a little bit. I lived here for six years, and i know your country reasonably well, but, you know, i still have a bit of detachment from it. Half of me thinks nothing's going on at all. You guys voted 50 % republican and 50 % democrat for the last four elections. It's like you're not any more polarized than you were. The same thing happens in canada now. In democracy, you get the candidates that you deserve. Just like
