Mining Companies Are Always Going After the Highest or Grades
When you're operating a mine, you're trying to generate the highest possible return that you can. If your or grade in your first day is at 1%, and your or grade at year 15 is 0.5%. It's probably about twice as expensive to operate that mine in year 15 as it was in year one. So I think that just on a global basis, companies being returned seeking all of the mining companies have been going after the highest or grades. But given that fact, you've seen or grade steadily decline over the last 20 years.
