What's the Consequences of Losing Jupiter?

Jupiter is full of gas that we could maybe use for some sort of fusion powered space engine rate. If the aliens are coming because they want to fuel up, and it would suck to lose it. But you know, space is filled with these resources. Like there is water and hydrogen and all sorts of elements all over the solar system. So whatever you really need out there in the solar system, you can pretty much find it, even if you lost j Jupiter. We don't think any of them are on trajectory to hit the earth any time soon.
