How to Assess Burnout in a Pastoral Environment
With burnout, it's often the result of a dysfunctional work culture. It really involves some investigation and I don't encourage people to do this on their own. If you're in a bad place, you're already misassessing things so you're going to wrongly assess your own stuff. You've got to have somebody from the outside look at this. Right? And if I hear there's something that sounds a little bit like trauma, I'm going to say you need to see a therapist."
