Challenges and Changes in LGBTQI Asylum Seeking

This chapter explores the escalating difficulties LGBTQI individuals face when seeking asylum in the U.S., particularly due to rising denial rates of their claims. It also examines how recent shifts in U.S. foreign policy, especially the cuts to USAID, adversely affect programs that support marginalized communities, including LGBTQI groups.
