The Fed's Meeting on Credit Tightening

It feels like definitely some of those worst case scenarios when it comes to the banking system have been taken off the boil. The banks who are under pressure from having to pay higher deposit rates, they will presumably be less willing to extend credit. So I don't know at the economic level, sort of the macro level, how severe this is going to be. And it doesn't appear yet. There's a lot of evidence that it's leading to a downturn.
